James Styles NFL for New York Fashion Week: Men's

James has done a lot in the industry, but he doesn't get the opportunity to work with as many athletes as he'd like. This SS19 season for New York Fashion Week: Men's changed all that, when James was tapped to style Rodney McLeod (of the 2018 Superbowl Championship team - The Philadelphia Eagles) and Tye Smith (current safety for the Tennessee Titans) for the week. Over two days (because both athletes have packed schedules), James booked them for front rows at some of the hottest shows, and got them dressed by the designers of the shows they were attending, in addition to booking Tye Smith to walk in one of the finale shows for the week - Grungy Gentlemen.

"Athletes inspire me to go to the gym," James says while laughing about his own physique. "But the heavy lifting, I leave to them."

With his assistant for the project Seleah Simone (resident Miss Congeniality who does it all - red carpet corresponding, modeling, and PR), the team escorted the athletes in and out of shows capturing some key press moments in the process. A highlight was their interview with TMZ outside of the N. Hollywood show. James says that Fashion Week is like a marathon. Luckily, he was working with athletes who specialize in stamina. Both class acts, Rodney McLeod recently signed with Click Model Management, and Tye Smith is on his way to becoming a fashion darling with big moments this week in Gustav Von Aschenbach by Robert Geller and Woodhouse Army.

Special Thanks to Antone Barnes, of Brand Architects for bringing James on for this project.
